Dr. Burden uses high-tech dental equipment to give you the best results.

Dr. Burden and his highly-trained staff are committed to providing you the best dental care available. By using state-of-the-art technology, he’s able to speed up your treatment time and make your experience in the office more comfortable.

Digital 3D Cone Beam X-rays

Our digital Cone Beam scanner captures 3D images of the jaw, teeth, bone and entire skull, allowing Dr. Burden to review your X-rays with you within seconds of taking them. The system emits 80% less radiation than conventional X-rays and produces crisp 3D images, giving a comprehensive view from every angle for accurate procedure planning.

CEREC One-Visit Restorations

Dr. Burden uses CEREC to create high-quality, natural-looking dental restorations in just one visit! CEREC uses high-tech computer software to create accurate 3D models that eliminates the need for messy molding material. CEREC restorations are made of tooth-colored ceramic (porcelain) so they look natural and fit comfortably.

Laser Gum Cleaning and Laser Gum Surgery

Dr. Burden uses a soft-tissue laser for reshaping “gummy” smiles and gently removing diseased gum tissue. The laser is more precise and allows for your gums to heal faster and more effectively without any cutting or sutures.

Prophy Jet

Dr. Burden’s experienced hygienists use a prophy jet—an air polishing system that sprays a combination of high-pressure water and sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) to blast away stains and plaque. It is typically used at the end of teeth cleanings, or prior to certain dental procedures. It’s gentle and quiet and tends to be more effective than traditional methods of polishing.

Ultrasonic Scaler

The ultrasonic scaler is an advanced device that our hygienists use to effectively remove plaque and deep stains from your teeth. This machine uses high-frequency vibrations to gently clean your teeth more comfortably than traditional tools.

SNAP! Smile imaging preview

As part of your cosmetic consultation, Dr. Burden can use SNAP! imaging software to show you a personalized smile design before any treatment begins. This software creates a virtual rendition of what your smile will look like after all dental procedures are completed.
